I'm a big sports fan and a broadcasting buff. I love great sports "calls" I also love great NYE eve calls from Dead PPV or radio broadcasts. I would love to hear some of your favs. It can be from the national broadcast or anything you heard from the local guys. A few that come to mind..

1985 Kesey saying the cake float was the USS Marrimack and how this must have cost millions. He then says he sees Sam the eagle from the Muppets.

1987 PPV Kesey again seeing a joe montana look a like on the float starts scremaing that Jerry Rice is out in the pattern and then jerry rice is spouting fire.

1991 at midnight Gans questions some guy named marty by saying, I think you've changed your tune about the laidbackness here in oakland. Marty responds, The west coast has now become the east coast- we are all one"

1981....Kesey doing his Gong Bong rap and then Graham flying down to the stage, throwing joints to the crowd from a huge Joint shaped plane called the USS Columbian

The 1971 FM broadcast. The DJ's speak over the opening notes to "complete the picture" and then, bam, the band cuts THEM off with the last dancing in the streets for five years.
